The Committee

Baildon BIG committee meets on a monthly basis to plan our upcoming meetings and events.

As individuals, each has a vast skill-set to enable our Chamber of Commerce to work for local businesses.

The committee currently consists of the following people:

President – Sharon Boardman (Sharon Boardman Personal Trainer)

Sharon also has a corporate Human Resources background and worked as a HR Manager for BT for 14 years, developing leadership and management skills.

Vice President – Sally Illingworth (Bracken Hall House)

Sally’s background is in product development at ASDA House until herself and husband, Stuart, took on the restoration of historic Bracken Hall, turning it into a luxury B&B and working to save the Countryside Centre.

Treasurer – Sarah Oddy (Oddy Associates Accountants & Business Advisors)

Sarah has over 20 years experience in the accountancy profession, has acted as Treasurer for a local charity as well as assisting with financial responsibilities for many charities and community groups. Sarah has ensured all the financial arrangements are in place and will be responsible for keeping the accounts for Baildon Ignition Group.

Secretary – Simon Crocket (RS Contracts) 

Simon is our resident security expert, RS Contracts fit and supply security and CCTV products working with large national companies as well as residential and small business premises.

Membership Secretary – Sadie Ferriday (Baildon Wedding Photography & Peppermint Creative)

Sadie has a graphic design and publications background from over a decade of employment with a membership-based not-for-profit organisation, along with the organisational skills of running her two businesses, Baildon Wedding Photography and Peppermint Creative.

Director of Communications – Mark and Angela Cranny 

Mark and Angela have used their expertise in WordPress and website development to facilitate this website, including directory listings for all members. Mark has a strong technical background, with Angela providing support and organisational skills.
